Newborn sleep is one thing for women who are mothers about for the first time. If you are a new mom, you might be concerned about your baby getting enough sleep.

Usually, an infant will not sleep all the way through the night until they reach the age of three months. There are a few explanations why this is the case.
The first is that they have tiny stomachs, so they get hungry even quicker, particularly if they are breastfed.
It is harder for them to digest breast milk than to digest formula, so they will have to eat more often, especially at the beginning of their lives.

They are not going to sleep 8 hours straight, though. The first time you bring them up, they are going to sleep in very short periods.
When your child reaches 2 years of age, he or she will sleep 13 to 14 hours, but they will sleep less during the day as they grow older.
When the child reaches 2 years of age, he should be able to sleep all night and take a nap for 2 hours a day.
Keep in mind that infant sleep habits are different for each infant, and you may need to take two naps or one long nap.
When they hit that age, try to convince them to take a nap early, and if they take a nap too late, they may not want to fall asleep at night.
If your newborns sleep a lot, you might feel disappointed if they start to wake up again in the middle of the night.
Many of the time, this occurs before they are around 6 months old, which means they are undergoing a natural condition called separation anxiety.
